FanDuel Sportsbook Announces NHL Live Stream Deal

NHL betting is routine business at FanDuel Sportsbook.

No explanation is needed concerning the New Jersey Devils being a 1.5-point underdog against the Las Vegas Golden Knights.

Now imagine after placing a bet, having the option to live stream the hockey game using the FanDuel app. This crazy concept, however, is actually a reality with the new FanDuel Live NHL Stream option!

All-new FanDuel live NHL stream deal

New Jersey’s top sports betting operator announced the news this week via a press release.

This new offering ties into its new partnership with IMG Arena.

FanDuel will feature up to two live streams daily throughout the NHL regular season. The games will be viewable in New Jersey and other states where legal sports wagering is available.

Customers need to have a funded sportsbook account or a wager on the event.

Live streaming via a sports betting app is new territory in the Garden State.

The concept, however, is extremely popular overseas. Last year alone, according to the release, 56 million unique viewers around the globe collectively watched more than 10.5 billion minutes of IMG Arena content.

Niall Connell, the general manager and senior vice president of FanDuel Group, explains why the deal will improve the user experience.

“As we continue to innovate and expand nationwide, the ability to further enhance the live game and live betting experience is increasingly important to our customers,” said Connell.

“Our goal is to become a one-stop-shop for all sports and betting content, and live streaming professional sports, like hockey, is one of the many ways we are reaching that goal.”

NHL live streaming schedule

Even with this new service, canceling that NBCSN subscription is a bad idea. Hold on to those local sports channels, too.

This especially applies to those obsessed Devils fans like David Puddy from Seinfeld.

FanDuel did not announce its streaming schedule. Games will rotate each night and will feature out of market teams.

The blackout rule will apply to local teams and national broadcasts.

But as far as NHL wagering goes, the New Jersey market is open 24/7.
