Week Three of the NFL season dawns with New York Jets, New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles bettors sharing one question.
Which 0-2 team will win first?
It’s a sad but honest question for three teams that started the season on a lackluster note. NFL Week Three odds show varied chances for all three, but it’s the Eagles that are the best bet to answer affirmatively.

Bengals @ Eagles
The Eagles are nearly a touchdown favorite against the Cincinnati Bengals this week. But they have flopped so far, including Sunday’s 37-19 pounding from the Los Angeles Rams.
By the numbers: Philadelphia is 0-2 on the moneyline and against the spread. Cincinnati is 0-2 on the moneyline, but 2-0 against the spread.
49ers @ Giants
The NY Giants get surprisingly few points against the San Francisco 49ers. The line would normally be larger, but the Niners suffered some crippling injuries en route to their 31-13 victory over the Jets at MetLife Stadium.
Watch the health of several players, as it will affect the line.
The Niners lost quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, running backs Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman, and defensive tackle Solomon Thomas during the game. All suffered game-ending lower-body injuries.
If they remain out, the Giants will stay at about +4. If some return, the Niners will give more points.
The G-Men at least rewarded their spread bettors with a winning ticket in their 17-13 setback to the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
New York also suffered a crippling knee injury to star back Saquon Barkley. The fear is he will be out for several weeks, perhaps the season.
The Giants are 0-2 on the moneyline, 1-1 versus the spread. The Niners are 1-1 on both counts.
Jets @ Colts
The Jets are almost 10-point underdogs against the Indianapolis Colts. They were listless against the 49ers and gave up both an 80-yard scoring run on the first play from scrimmage and a 55-yard run on a 3rd-and-31.
The Jets are 0-2 on the moneyline and against the spread.
NFL Week 3 odds around the league
What’s it look like around the NFL? If you’re planning to bet, take a look at the following games that have a spark of life heading into Week Three.
Thursday Night Football: Miami @ Jaguars
Jacksonville is favored by less than a field goal against the visiting Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football.
Gardner Minshew of the Jaguars and Ryan Fitzpatrick of the Dolphins were stellar in the fourth quarter of their teams’ close covering losses on Sunday.
Jacksonville is 1-1 on the moneyline, 2-0 versus the spread. Miami is 0-2 on the moneyline, 1-1 versus the spread.
Bears @ Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons are slightly favored against the visiting Chicago Bears after a blood-pressure alert for both teams on Sunday. Chicago held off the Giants 17-13 on the last play. Atlanta coughed up a 15-point lead in the final minutes and lost a 40-39 heart-wrencher to the Dallas Cowboys.
Interestingly, the 2-0 Bears are underdogs to the winless Falcons.
Chicago is 2-0 on the moneyline, 1-1 versus the spread. Atlanta is 0-2 on the moneyline, 1-1 against the spread.
Rams @ Bills
The Buffalo Bills opened -3 at DraftKings Sportsbook, -2.5 at FanDuel Sportsbook to the visiting Rams in what should be one of the week’s most entertaining matchups.
Both 2-0 teams scored more than 30 points in winning road games on Sunday. These are two probable playoff teams. That half-point difference between the books is an incentive to Bills bettors.
The Rams are 2-0 versus the moneyline and spread. The Bills are 2-0 on the moneyline, 1-1 against the spread.
Packers @ Saints
The New Orleans Saints host the Green Bay Packers in a battle of strong offensive teams Sunday night. The Packers have exceeded 40 points in each of their first two games.
Green Bay is 2-0 on the moneyline and against the spread. New Orleans is 1-0 on both and plays tonight against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Monday Night Football: Chiefs @ Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens being a field goal better than the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football will be an interesting number to watch in Week Three odds.
The Chiefs rallied against a stubborn Los Angles Chargers team to win 23-20 in overtime Sunday. The Ravens throttled the Houston Texans 33-16 in a battle of playoff teams from last year.
Baltimore is 2-0 on the moneyline and versus the spread. Kansas City is 2-0 on the moneyline, 1-1 against the spread.
Texans @ Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Houston Texans. Pittsburgh outlasted the stubborn Denver Broncos 26-21 to become 2-0.
The Texans were thumped by the Ravens 33-16 and are 0-2, but they had to start with the Chiefs and the Ravens. It’s near must-win time already for them.
Pittsburgh is 2-0 on the moneyline, 1-1 versus the spread. Houston is 0-2 on both.
