One of the common complaints among online poker players in New Jersey’s regulated markets: The lack of volume and variety when it comes to the ongoing tournament schedules at NJ’s major rooms.

While short of a sweeping change, impending updates at PartyPoker NJ should at least mitigate that complaint. Via a report at PokerFuse:

The three new events include a $3,000 guaranteed rebuy tournament with a $35 buy-in that will run on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday at 2:30pm local time. There are also two $2,000 guaranteed tournaments—one is a PLO rebuy with a $25 but-in that will run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 4:30pm, and a 6-max event with a $75 buy-in that will run at 8:30 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The changes are no doubt at least partially in response to the recent decision by 888 and World Series of Poker NJ to share part of their tournament lobby, a move that threatened Party / Borgata’s dominance of the NJ MTT scene.
