Odds boosts are a big part of the NJ sports betting world.
Sometimes they merely eliminate the vig. Other times they provide an excellent return.
And at all times, they are fun.
Odds boosts take NFL games to another level for New Jersey online bettors. Many involve the yardage totals that make every play matter, while others concern moneylines and spreads.
Here’s our Week 11 analysis.
Looking at Eagles-Browns action
Odds boosts have become a staple for Fox Bet. There are once again some enticing props on the board.
Do you like the ground game in the Philadelphia Eagles–Cleveland Browns matchup?
Nick Chubb to score a first-quarter touchdown for Cleveland is +500. It pays well for limiting the bettor to a narrow time frame. Depending on which team wins the coin flip, this can be a one- or two-possession prop. Hence the reason it pays well. However, the smart approach is to find an anytime-scoring prop to accompany this type of bet.
How about an air show?
Star receivers Jarvis Landry and Travis Fulgham have been boosted to +200 to combine for 150 or more yards. And on most weeks, this is realistic.
The Cleveland weather is the wild card.

Heavy wind gusts have limited the passing game the past two weeks. If the weather holds up, the Eagles will need to incorporate Fulgham more. Landry is a deep threat for the Browns. Friday’s forecast indicated rain and gusts of 10 mph, which isn’t bad.
Here’s another weather call.
Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz and Browns signal-caller Baker Mayfield are +300 to each toss two touchdowns.
Mayfield is due if the conditions are reasonable. After scoring five touchdowns in a 37-34 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, he hasn’t done much. Cleveland is 1-1 in its two games since, but Mayfield did not throw any touchdowns.
Switching to the Eagles, Wentz gets two more often than not.
Fox Bet + other NFL Week 11 games
As in previous weeks, Fox Bet customers have plenty of other options.
The Tennessee Titans–Baltimore Ravens matchup features some star power.
Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry each to score a rushing touchdown has been boosted to +300. That’s a nice price.
Jackson is a threat to score anytime and has a prime opportunity against the porous Tennessee defense. Henry goes against a tough Ravens team, but he is the workhorse of the Titans offense.
The 9-0 Pittsburgh Steelers, the NFL’s only remaining undefeated team, visit the Jacksonville Jaguars. And Fox Bet is offering an odds boost featuring the James Gang.
Will James Conner of the Steelers and James Robinson of the Jags combined for 200 or more rushing yards?
Yes is +400.
But this prop is tricky, because if one team gets a big lead, the other will abandon its running game. Steelers coaches have been talking this week about their absent ground game. Will they focus on that here?
The Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts boost features the quarterbacks. Can Aaron Rodgers and Phillip Rivers each throw two touchdown passes?
This one is hiked to +200. Rodgers is usually a given, so this bet most likely concerns Rivers.
But there’s another option.
Will Davante Adams of the Packers and T.Y. Hilton of the Colts combine for 200 receiving yards? This one is now paying +300.
Both players are deep threats. If the game stays as close as the line projects, they will be prominent targets. One long gainer can make this one a winner.
Now let’s look at two teams due for a win.
One of these days, rookie Justin Herbert will have a breakout game. Unfortunately, his 2-7 Los Angeles Chargers have fallen on some tough times.
His team is hosting the winless New York Jets. The combo of Herbert throwing three TDs and a Chargers win is +250.
FanDuel Sportsbook + three road teams
How does a three-for-one deal sound?
In this case, we are referring to three NFL Week 11 road teams.
FanDuel Sportsbook is packing the Bengals, Steelers and Chiefs into one wager. Here’s the deal:
- Bengals +8.5 versus Washington
- Steelers -3.5 versus Jags
- Kansas City -1.5 against the Raiders
This is now paying +180, up from +133.
Keep in mind, it’s not easy to hit three road teams on one bet. This one provides enticing alternate lines. Based on line fluctuations, this is worth about a touchdown per team.
It’s appealing to get nearly 10 points on the Bengals in a near pick-em game against the Washington Football Team. Then you’re asking the heavily favored Chiefs to just sneak past Las Vegas and Pittsburgh to win by just more than a field goal at Jacksonville. The bet brings two potentially unplayable lines for chalk players — Pittsburgh and Kansas City — into the mix.
Draft Kings rings Week 11 moneyline chime
Can the Packers defeat the Colts and the Miami Dolphins top the Denver Broncos?
This is a question for DraftKings Sportsbook customers.
This odds boost is now paying +290, up from +244.
Here is another one: the Chiefs, Steelers and Ravens all to win straight up. This one is boosted to +155, up from +119.
