First-year Head Coach Robert Saleh and No. 2 overall draft pick QB Zach Wilson have their work cut out for them.
In the AFC East, the Jets face the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, and Miami Dolphins twice.
The defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers will pay a visit to MetLife Stadium in Week 17. The Jets will also host the Tennesse Titans (Week 4) and New Orleans Saints (Week 14).
Tough road games include the Denver Broncos (Week 3) and Indianapolis Colts (Week 9).
The New York Jets start the 2021 season on Sept. 12 with a trip to Charlotte, NC. The Carolina Panthers feature some familiar faces to Jets fans, including QB Sam Darnold and WR Robbie Anderson. The Panthers are 4.5-point favorites in the 1 p.m. matchup.
