MGM Set To Launch ‘M life’ Loyalty Program At Borgata In June

Visitors to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa will soon get to enjoy the benefits of the MGM Resorts International M life Rewards loyalty program.

Here comes M life

MGM announced that M life would go live at Borgata starting on Wednesday, June 7. This will replace the My Borgata Rewards program that had been in place previously.

Bellagio patrons will be able to use M life to take advantage of personalized offers, exclusive benefits and special access at MGM resorts. Sign up for M life is free.

“Borgata is Atlantic City’s premier resort and has been a tremendous addition to our company and now to our M life Rewards program,” Jordan Salmon, Vice President of Loyalty Marketing for MGM, said in a press release. “We look forward to welcoming our new members from Borgata and sharing with them our diverse, world-class resorts, amenities and iconic experiences.”

The program allows users to earn comps and discounts on rooms, food and beverage and entertainment, among other things. You can learn more about the program here or watch the video below:

More on M life going live at Borgata

The move comes in the wake of MGM taking over 100 percent controlling interest in the Atlantic City resort. MGM owned half of the resort previously. It assumed the 50 percent share formerly owned by Boyd Gaming in August of last year.

The M life program is used in nearly every MGM property, including:

  • Bellagio
  • ARIA
  • MGM Grand
  • Mandalay Bay
  • and The Mirage in Las Vegas
  • Resorts in Detroit, Mississippi and Maryland.

“The ability to offer our devoted customers a connection from Borgata to sister properties in Las Vegas and throughout the country is an invaluable asset and something that we are extremely eager to introduce,” said Tom Ballance, President and COO of Borgata.

“The timing couldn’t be more ideal, as MGM Resorts expands their presence into the mid-Atlantic and Northeast United States with the recent opening of the $1.4 billion MGM National Harbor in Maryland and the upcoming 2018 opening of MGM Springfield in Massachusetts.”

MGM also going online with gambling

The move comes with an MGM online casino arriving in New Jersey soon.

While MGM is already involved with the NJ online gambling market via the Borgata brand, it will also be deploying a playMGM-branded casino later this year.

It appears likely that MGM patrons can link their M life account to an online gambling account, as well.
